Or Ash Ash Ash United as they seem to be know to anyone who watched our cup clash last season! ;D Beat Robbins Croydon 4 - 0. Thought it might be of interest as Ash are our likely opponents in the Vase in a few weeks time.
Also Joe Fuller and Bryan Pearce, both formerly of the Wells, have signed for Ashford Town.

Best of luck to Joe (and of course Bryan). Good grief - who could have seen that one coming? Freak result? I wonder if Ash man takes his unique choruses into the clubhouse afterwards if they win? ;D A.S.H. Mike Robbins now finds himself out of a job after 4 competitive games in charge. All a bit laughable really that a manager should be afforded so little time to stamp their authority on a team.
Continuing the "Wells watch" of ex-players, Wes Tate now turns out for big spending Sussex side Whitehawk, while Ross Cable is banging in the goals for the Deres after featuring for Holmesdale during pre-season.

Nice 'Wells Watch' idea WishingWells!
As for Robbins being out of a job with Croydon, what a load of cobblers. Their chairman reminds me of Flavio Briatore at QPR - just without the glamour of F1 and billions of £££. That club's happy to dump people, but its intriguing how bitter they get when they get dumped (Tony Beckingham).

Thanks chopper. Would agree with your summary of the Croydon situation. Looks like the switch over to the Combined Counties might backfire on them this season.
Interestingly, Robbins is already being linked with a few clubs, most notably Erith and Belvedere.
