Don't know about anyone else but this feels akin to reaching a county cup final already. First of all well done lads - role on the 4th round! Personally I shall be there and expect to be standing amongst a crowd in excess of 200 but chaps, bring someone new and we can try to swell the gate to more than 300, create some atmosphere and turn a profit on gate money alone regardless of paying any costs for St Ives travel arrangements. Be warned I plan to be noisy and I hope that I am not alone! Win the game and those new supporters will soon be back as well! The more the merrier in case, like Herne Bay this round, we get landed a further tie (if we beat SITFC) somewhere up north. Reaching round four means that next season we shall be entering at the 2nd round proper. Slight regrets that we won't get to play any step six oppo from East Sussex, Surrey etc and that we miss out on relatively winnable prize money early doors in the competition. On the other hand it also means that we can have a real good crack at the early rounds of the FA Cup where the prize money is much bigger. It also reduces the chances of those bum draws against familiar faces from the Kent League. It will also delight the KPL fixtures secretary who will be able to schedule us to play three additional home league games before the serious damp of autumn and winter can even touch the Culverden pitch. This in turn allows us to put points on the board before enjoying another run towards Wembley. Heady days. Isn't Culverden a great place to be these days!

This from the St Ives message board;
Thanks for your comments, I estimate we will bring around 100 as thats our norm. We have plenty of lager and beer drinkers so be prepared, we have wiped out many a good clubhouse. Take care and we look forward to the game in Jan Mr Chiz

They certainly fancy their chances going by their message board. Moving on though, if we do get past them, how about Whitley Bay at Culverden in Round 5? Any takers? Their Vase run has to come to an end at some point - and if Wells did it, the club would be the feared side going into the Quarter Finals... ;D

Always good to welcome new opposition down to the Culverden. They seem to have a bit of a pedigree when it comes to the cups over recent years, and *random fact alert* the St Ives management due have been in charge for circa~450 games. An impressive testament to the stability of the club.
Looking forward to a bumper crowd and some cup atmosphere.
