I wasn't there either - but here's what's being said on the Kent League Forum:
Abe: Tunbridge Wells (2)4 Sporting Bengal (0)0
Ross Cable 27, 58, 84... Wes Tate 33.
TWFC 36 shots (12 on target); SBUFC 10 shots (3 on target)
Pretty much as you`d expect; could have been double figures apart from Shamimuz Zaman in Bengal goal playing very well.
WishingWells Ross Cable hat trick and a well taken goal by Wes Tate in a game Wells controlled from start to finish. Could have been double, Bengal were poor but worked hard throughout, and hit the post late on. 14 goals in the last 3 games (and, yes, 5 conceded in the same period).
--------------------
Just a couple of observations from me:
The attendance was 80+. That's double what would have gone in previous seasons for a midweek fixture - particularly against one of the less glamorous sides.
That's just 4 conceded in 7 league games. That defence/Mikelle are clearly working well together.

Could have been five or six up by half time with four close efforts inside the opening quarter of an hour alone. Struck the post within two minutes and then there was some desperate, last gasp keeping to keep the Wells at bay. First goal followed some comical defending which allowed Cable through on goal. Second was well taken by the birthday boy, Wes Tate, from just outside the area. Second half saw Cable create his own space before picking his spot. The best of the four, IMO, was the last with a swift one touch passing move resulting in Cable being found in space to create his hat-trick.
Much of the match saw Cable and Tate sitting on the shoulders of a very dodgy looking defence. It also featured players running at defenders a lot as they obviously fancied their chances. Different sort of game than the one against Ash, who are a better team. I left thinking 'job done' roll on Saturday and I think we will win more convincingly against better sides than this opposition.
The thing that made me smile most was that at three up, Mike Robbins threw on Fuller, Lord and Agana in addition to Tate and Cable. The woodwork was rattled once more before bizarrely at four down, Bengal chucked everyone up field and asked a couple of questions late on and also clipped the far post.
Three more points then and a big game to come on Saturday. I think the lads have plenty left in the tank and I don't think any injuries were picked up last night.

We looked pretty solid at the back and in the second half ran riot in the Bengal half - with some more crisp passes and better delivery we could have had 10.

The attendance was 80+. That's double what would have gone in previous seasons for a midweek fixture - particularly against one of the less glamorous sides. I was expecting a little less to be honest. Wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be our lowest league attendance of the season, dodgy weather on a Tuesday evening and Bengal certainly didn't bring many/any. Corresponding attendance last year was 45 , so a whopping (roughly) 100% increase on last years figure. That's just 4 conceded in 7 league games. That defense/Mikelle are clearly working well together. No doubt about that. Mikelle's a quality keeper, a real asset to the squad and has done fantastically well since coming in to replace the injured Chris Arnold (get well soon Chris). Whats the situation with Bryan Pearce? Currently serving a ban for his sending off against Greenwich?

The attendance was 82 last night, last season there were only two games at the Culverden that brought in more. Just goes to show how far the club has come in such a short space of time.
